Climate Change Adaptation in the Fraser Basin

Climate Change Adaptation in the Lower Mainland
What is this?
As part of the Natural Resource Canada funded project on climate change adaptation in the Fraser Basin and Lower Mainland of British Columbia, EKOS Communications Inc. produced two 12 minute videos designed to stimulate dialogue among local government representatives, scientists and engineers on how to adapt water related infrastructure.
Why is this useful?
Just as we must explore ways to mitigate the effects of climate change, it is increasingly being understood that, given the certainty that some level of climate change is underway and likely to continue, adaptation strategies will be an integral part of how communities approach this issue.
Who created it and when?
The project was funded by Natural Resource Canada and produced by Ekos Communications Inc. The videos were released in February of 2008.
